Officer Training Information:
If you are an officer in your 4-H Club for the 2024-25 4-H Year, I encourage you to participate in the 2024 4-H Officer “Superhero” Training Online ModuleParticipating in the 4-H Officer training will help you learn about your club and officer duties and help your club with their Seal Requirements.  Clubs need over 50% of their officers to participate in the 4-H Officer Training.    It will also count towards your member achievement pin application.  The training must be completed by January 1.

Marais des Cygnes District Livestock Judging 2025
We have three new livestock judging coaches who will be working with our District members who would like to learn more about livestock judging.  They are planning a practice on January 6th at 6pm at Elliott Insurance Group Office in Paola.

The judging coaches are Chance Hager (Chance@elliottinsurancegroup.com), Kevin Hightower (dhtcattle@gmail.com), and Quinton Ford (Fordfarm15@gmail.com).

State Events and Information

Join us for our 4-H Day with the K-State Women's Basketball Team!

The Kansas Association of Extension 4-H Agents (KAE4-HA) is excited to inform you that the annual
"4-H Day with the K-State Women's Basketball Team" has been scheduled for Saturday, January 4th
at 4PM. Join us as the Wildcat women take on the Red Raiders of Texas Tech! 

For $25, each attendee will receive a ticket to the game, an awesome game day t-shirt, and a $10 meal voucher
to use at the main concession stands. A ticket/voucher option with no t-shirt is available for $15.

The Elite Livestock Judging Clinic & Contest

The Elite Livestock Judging Clinic and Contest will be held at theLVCO Fairgrounds in Tonganoxie, KS on Saturday,
December 7th.  This contest is open to all 7 to19-year-olds.    New this year will be meats identification training
hosted by KSU Meats Science Department.
