Cloverbuds
The overall purpose of the 4-H Cloverbuds program is to foster the development of life skills that are essential for the cognitive, social, emotional and physical maturation of five- and six- year olds by providing a unique educational opportunity.
Kansas 4-H offers an educational, youth development opportunity specifically for 5- and 6-year-old children known as 4-H Cloverbuds. To be eligible to participate, a child must have celebrated his or her 5th or 6th birthday before January 1 of the current year. Five- and 6-year-old children do not pay a State 4-H program fee.
The goals for Kansas 4-H Cloverbuds include:

- Learning skills (Learning to learn)
