K-State Research & Extension is a leader in providing research-based information and education for creating strong, healthy Kansas families and communities.
We strive to develop consumer and financial management skills, improve parenting skills and family relationships, prepare youth to be responsible citizens, help families in Kansas balance the demands of work, family, community and time for self, create safe healthy homes and provide clothing and textile information.
Through our Family and Consumer Sciences program, K-State Research and Extension is able to provide knowledge for life relating to home and family. Through our programs, classes, publications, newsletters, columns, and much more, our agents provide you Knowledge for Life.
